Meet Mr. Natural Health
It is time for me to update my original Facebook photo, which was rather dated.
Who am I? I am certainly not the Health Ranger. On Wikipedia, I was originally known as Mr. Natural Health, but currently I go by my real name: John Gohde. That was NOT my idea, but was the result of my name being exposed by some of Wikipedia's anti-alternative medicine editors.
As most of you have probably already guessed, my original profile picture on Facebook was my senior year high school portrait that was taken back in the late 1960s.
The self-portrait to the right was taken on February 27, 2013.
Mr. Natural Health - Vitamin D Guinea Pig
Mr. Natural Health has personally become a human vitamin D guinea pig.
Mr. Natural Health - a Jack of All Trades
John is a health servant by necessity.
Mr. Natural Health is, also, a jack of all trades: Web developer, general contractor, Web content creator, gardener, chef, and Wikipedian content creator.
As an experienced amateur lawyer, of sorts, John once personally appealed a circuit court case in the Court of Appeals of Virginia, which took over one year of effort. At Wikipedia, he founded the WikiProject on Alternative Medicine. Periodically taking on new mental challenges from time to time is precisely how everyone can avoid age-related dementia.
The Sixties
I am a senior citizen in my sixties, who weighs just 150 pounds.
When you manage to reach the age of 60, you start to realize that your old life is over. Society suddenly starts knocking you over the head in not so subtle ways, to let you know in no uncertain terms that everyone thinks that your time is over. You suddenly realize that your children are middle-aged, and just about everyone you meet in person is younger than you are. Health wise, the 60s are NOT a particularly challenging period. Nevertheless, people younger than you are dying in droves. The sixties prepares you to start a new life, as a retired senior citizen.
